Best Book On Earth

Just wanted to quickly blog about my favorite book, Anna Karenina....

I just love it. It's long but it has great themes and wonderful characters....its way better than Madame Bovary..

Im looking forward to reading East of Eden, The Bell Jar, and Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War...

I love books and hope to one day to produce my own poem book and maybe my own book..who knows

I just finished watching the Bad Girls Club and I must say theses girls are crazy.

I dont know what makes them think that acting the way they do is appealing.

I do love the show but seriously these girls are out of control. What happened to humbleness....

There should be a Good Girls Club, a show that turns girls like this into very proper nice girls.

To me all these girls just seem insecure and sad.....

If I were a parent, and saw my daughter on that show, I would drag her out of that house and give her etiquette lessons ASAP.

BTW the girl Natalie is a controlling and Im starting to think she is a sociopath...she doesnt know where peoples boundraries are and is just weird....who acts like that??? Um not normal people....

I guess I'll blog more about this show, when something big happenes that makes me mad

Urban 'Cheap Ripoff' Outfitters

So I went on Urban Outfitters.com to browse and see if I could find anything good. Now I do like the look and the styling of the clothes but I had heard that some of the things that UO sells are a bit cheap in quality.

Sometimes when looking at some of clothes on the site, they do look cheap not to mention a tad too expensive.

I am not paying 20 something dollars for a winter beanie when I can get one down the street at the beauty supply store for 6 or 7 dollars.

Then for some dinky tank top that looks like my little brother could have made it, is priced for 20-30 dollars. If it looked like material that would withstand the washer, then price wouldnt be an issue.

So anyway I looked at some reviews on a purse that I liked and people said things like the zipper broke, or the strap broke.....the studs on a shirt fall off easily, jewelry tarnishes within a month, shirts have ripped, pants didnt stand a chance in the washer..........

Those are not reviews that make you want to buy something. Yes there were some good reviews but still...

I think that UO is a rip off. They try to be so cool and what not, all the while tricking you into thinking that your next purchase is going to last more than a month.

If their stuff is so easy to make (and it must be considering some of the flimsy fabrics), then why are we paying an arm and a leg for clothes that might only last a month..two if you keep your UO purchases from water!

Seriously, places like Forever 21 have better looking and better quality clothes..

I can buy a plaid shirt and v necks and beanies from Target for half of UO's prices and they last longer.....

I cannot begin to tell you how sick I am of seeing and hearing about ~~Twilight.~~

At first,I wanted to see the movie but I just never got around to it. One night I was with my cousins and we put one the first one but we were so busy talking and snacking that we werent paying attention to it.

Now before the first one came out, my friends were dying over the books...me not so much

When I went to the bookstore, I passed over the ~~twilight~~ books and went for a different vampire book, The House of Night seires which are great books

I love to support the little guys.

So anyway I am getting so annoyed with ~~twilight.~~ Who wants to see Mr Scrag himself, Rob Patzz and Are-you-on-medication Kristin Stewart, all the time? NOT ME.

Give it a rest already....and then EVERYONE wants to jump on the vampire bandwagon now...I have nothing against vampires but the more it keeps over playing, the sicker people are going to get about vampire stuff.....

The Jersey Shore

If you watch MTV like i do, then you probably seen the promo for a new show called The Jersey Shore (im from jerz btw)

Some people may call this type of show trash tv but its my guilty pleasure....

Its about a bunch of hot italia guidos and the shore.

I know guidos get a bad rep but whatever...im not italian (im blk/n.american/irish) but i do like italian people and the boys are hot

It airs Dec 3 and I cant wait!!!!!!

Lohan, Ledger, and Family drama!!

We all know that LiLo's dad is somewhat of a d-bag and that Lohan is getting a restraining order on him.

So anyway, tapes from D-bag Lohan were leaked again (Papa Lo said he is trying to help her but I think he wants publicity) and this time it explains the Lohan was dating Heath Ledger before he died.

The phone call was recored and it has her mom saying the following: "And she was dating Heath when he died," Dina said to her ex-husband, Michael Lohan, in a phone call released to Radaronline.com. "I don't know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends. Very, very close, OK? So that f----d her up." (pagesix.com)

Apparently, Lohan likes booze and Adderall too, "When she's drunk or takes an Adderall with it, she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking."

Lohan's assistant, Jenni Muro, says Lohan is suicidal: Contactmusic.come reports that in a phone call to Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan, Muro said: ‘I am trying to save your daughter’s life every day. Dean and the Old Days

Everyone says that I am an old soul in a young person's body, and yes,I think I just might be.

Anyway, I want to profess my love for James Dean.

Personally, I think he was great and we lost him too soon.

I loved the way he talked or sometimes mumbeled. It added to his charm

When I watch his movies,I get a feeling that I cant explain, mixed with a feeling of sadness that he is gone.

I wish he had time to make more movies so that I could watch them.

I've read that he was sick of acting, and wanted to direct, so that's the last we probably would have seen of him on the big screen anyway.

I liked him because he captured the "teen angst", like he really understood what the young people felt, eventhough at that time, my mother wasnt even born!

Its old actors and old movies that would make me want to be an actress, but I think I will stick with journalism for now.

Maybe it was the passion that the movie stars had, all the work and dedication that they put in, just isnt like today.

Most are just interested in being a celeb rather than an actor or actress

There will never be another James Dean.......or James Cagney, Greta Garbo, Audrey Hepburn, Bogey.......I feel bad for my own generation sometimes when I look back because for some reason we are lost....

Should you not know who Mark Hunter a.k.a "the cobrasnake", you are missing out.

He is the best photographer in Los Angeles.

I discovered him in Nylon magazine (if your not reading this magazine, then I dont know what is wrong).

Anyway this guy seems really cool, and knows how to snap a picture.

He mostly snaps the underground or hipster scene which I think is great because hipsters in my opinion are nice to look at. Some people argue that hipsters are just all copying each other and have no scence of individuality but I beg to differ because I think its about unity but still putting your own spin on it. It is about youth, culture, having fun, and not taking life so serious. What's wrong with that?

As I was saying, The Cobrasnake is really good. He has a photoblog called The Cobrasnake which I look at about every week. I just cant look away.

His work has been featured in many fashion, arts, and culture publications.

Child Abuse

By now, most people in the tri state are have heard about the death of a little 10 year old girl in the city of Philadelphia.

"The girl had been the subject of a Department of Human Services investigation for possible abuse in 2007 and files are now being reviewed"

Here is what I dont get. If S.S saw that she could have possibly been abused then why let her parents take her back.

Social Services try to take kids that dont need to be taken but when they need to be taken, what do they do?? Nothing but let the kids right back into the home of danger.

This is not the first time that this has happened throughout the world and it is asham. If you dont want your kid, give them to someone who actually wants children to love and take care of.

All the parents who abuse their kids need to rot in hell and never be spared. Watch the video on this little girl to see for yourself

Im sitting at my place on a saturday and rainy night with no where to go.

Btw, i just got my license like a week or two ago....what im 18, its normal

Anyway, I hate driving in the rain so even if I had a car I wouldnt be driving but still, it would be nice to have the option to get in my car and go somewhere..

Plus rain always makes me drowsy and blue.

My life doesnt really suck but it makes me a little said that on a saturday night I have no options of doing anything.

Well I guess we all have those days sometimes......but it sux

Oh well...maybe i should find a date online.........SIKE... im never doing that.

I'd rather see you and know you in person. I find something a lil creepy when you have a computer only relationship. It makes me think that people are incappable of real relationships so no, i dont do online relationships......but if you do, im not going to judge

Email Just Got Better

In case you havent heard, email has a new future ahead.

What is it you ask? Its called Goggle Wave.

As we progress to the next year,, people want to communicate in the most quick and easiest way possible. I mean we do have so much to do in only 24 hours.

I watched the videos for this product and I must say that Im impressed.

One thing that I know im going to like is that when the person you are talking to is typing, you dont see that annoying message "typing", but instead you see them typing each word before they finish the sentence.

Also, the Wave, translates different languages for you. For example if Im talking to someone from Spain, they can type in Spanish and I will see the english version.

So I come across this girl in Nylon magazine named Alexi Wasser....and she is soo cool.

Anyway she has an awesome blog, called ImBoyCrazy (which described me by the way).

If you havent checked it out, you really should because you will be amazed. Its not some weird blog with someone giving you crappy relationship advise, but its young and fresh, and completly funny.

Alexi gives advise for the dating world. Once you read her blog you should be ready to go out and pick up a date

I like the fact that she doesnt claim to know everything about relationships but does her best and makes you laugh in the process. I cant take someone seriously if they take themselves too seriously so thank god that she is relaxed.

If your intune with celeb goings and comings like I am, then you probably heard about Lil Wayne and how he will spend one year in prison.

Apparantly he had guns and he recently plead guilty to weapons possession charge.

What I dont understand is how if you have all this money, then why cant yoou just leave the gun handling to your bodyguards so that this kind of thing can be avoided.

I know if I was famous with huge cash flow, that I would have bodyguards.

Seriously people go to jail for the craziest things nowadays.

Did he not learn from T.I? If it happened to T.I. it can surely happen Lil Wayne.

Im a music junkie so finding the best bands is a must. Nowadays, there is a lot of crappy music out there but recently I've come across a few good bands. One in particular that I really like is The Downtown Fiction.

The band consists of three great guys, Eric, Cameron, and David, who know what good music is.

I found these guys on Myspace and it was just the music I was looking for. Something layed back anfd fun. Cameron has a good voice and not to mention that all 3 guys are quite good looking. :)

The Downtown Fiction is actually saying something and not just singing about things that dont make sense,which is awesome and I'm sure lots of people can relate to their words

Check these guys out and Im sure that you will be hooked. By the way, their EP is out and download the songs on Itunes. My favorite song is Is Anybody Out There

Another plus? They actually comment back on Myspace. Cant get much better than that. These guys are destined for FAME

I Know this show is not ALL ~~real~~ but I love it anyway

Kristin and Justin Bobby are apparently dating, which I think is kind of cool, but I dont know if he is the dating type. He seems like he just cant handle relationships. Maybe he is scared or just really doesnt care.

So he stands Kristin up and begins to remind me of his bad habits with Audrina. I dont like the fact that she put up with all of his crap again and again. I heard that the producers asked her to call up J.B. so they could boost ratings last season.

No matter what, no one deserves to be treated badly.

On the preview for next week, J.B. makes dinner for Kristin. 5 points for that, BUT then he goes to dinner with Audrina and tells her that he is not dating Kristin, but with Kristin he told her that he didnt date Audrina. I think he is a bad boyfriend and I dont think I would date him but his personality as a friend, seems nice.....

I wonder if Audrina is going to go back with J.B. after their little dinner date. Love is hard but if she does go back with him, she better put her foot down.

Who do you think J.B. should be with...Kristin,Audrina, or someone totaly new?

We all have our good and bad days but no matter what, I always feel better when I listen to music. I usually listen to a little bit of everything but I really love Rock. Its just something about it that pumps me up and makes me feel a lot better.

I forget everything else that brings me down and just rock out. I dont know what I would do without my music....probably sit in a corner and cry :(

When Heidi and Spence, where on the Hills at first, they were portrayed as mean and just dumb. But now with the lovely Kristin on the new season, Im really starting to like them.....

Yea Spence has had his jerk moments but what can you say, its a show...

And Heidi's music is not that bad so everyone needs to jump off her case...

As for Kristin.....I love her on the Hills. She is real and can stand up for herself. Unlike the other girls who fight each other's battles, she handles her own....

Is she a mean girl...idk, but I like it.... She is so fun and cool. The drama this season is going to be so fun, and I cant wait. Because it's her show, I'm liking Spence and Heidi alot more. I mean they arent that bad... I like Lauren but I LOVE KRISTIN

I love to help out my fellow neighbors, community, and charites because its doing something for the greater good.

Because I like to give back when I can and the fact that I have an obsession with spending money on clothes, I am going to visit The Philly Aids Thrift.

According to the devoted members on the great Yelp.com, The Philly Aids Thrift is the place to be.

I live in the boring subs, so i'm fresh out of water when it comes to thrift shopping.
Thrift shopping has been one of my life long dreams...rumaging through non-expensive (1-10 dollar), cool clothes.

Think your too good to shop at a thrift? Well think again. People we are in a recession. When you can revamp your entire wardrobe for $5 dollars, you are shopping smart. And yes I know you have to spend money to make money but I'll let the rich help the economy for a little bit while I save.

I'm not a cheap person but when I can get things at a good price, Im going to do it.

You can also donate clothes, electronics, records, books,jewelry...anything that you dont want anymore. If its clothes though, you might want to wash them before you give them away.

The money that you spend (you'll have a new wardrobe for about 20 dollars), goes to the Aids foundation. This month alone, $135,500.00 was raised for Philly area Aids Foundation....Sounds good....(Phillyaidsthrift.com)

Just think, when you put on those new pairs of jeans, it went towards the greater good.

So get down there, give, and spend a little money without breaking the bank.

When my best guy friend got in trouble and went to jail, I felt that I lost a part of myself.

He showed me what a good guy friend was.

People judged him from the outside but he was the perfect friend. We talked everyday and I put all of my trust in him.

Hes the kind of person you could close your eyes with and let them guide you down the street and not be scared.

While he had his problems he was a good person and the best guy friend I will ever have.

Its been about 3 or 4 years since I've seen or talked to him since he went to jail.

I tried writing him and finding out where he was but I never was successful.

I think about him almost everyday and have only the best memories of him.

I haven't been able to find a guy friend like him or even close to him yet

I compare all my guy friends to him and will probably compare my future boyfriends to him. Not because I like him but because he had good qualities

I love no other poet/musician more than Jim Morrison.

He was smart and seemed to have a big heart. If you watched The Doors, don't go on thinking that that was how Morrison really was because he wasn't just drunk all the time.

He didn't think of his great words while taking shots of whiskey

I think Jim was fearless and just had magic in his eyes.

He wanted knowledge and wanted to inform and entertain

Unfortunately for me, I wasn't even thought about being conceived when Morrison was singing his songs :(

Why is it that every award show, Kanye just has to do something stupid?? I mean seriously what is this guy on?

I'm not a huge fan of Taylor Swift but she deserved that award at the VMA's. She has worked very hard to get where she is and for Kanye to try and control who wins and who doesn't is very wrong.

I cringe every time I watch a clip of it or even think about it.

Kanye looked stupid because Beyonce wasn't going along with his antics. That was so rude and out of control. He had to have been taking something to have just jumped out of his seat and say some stupid stuff like that or maybe he needed some publicity.....

Kudos to Beyonce for standing up and letting Taylor say something when she received her own award.

Seriously even if Beyonce hadn't won anything at all that night, she has enough awards to hold her over for quite a while.

As for Kayne, well each time he does things like this, I like him less and less.

When he first came out, I liked him because he was just about his music, now he is stuck up and just nerve racking. His music and his attitude has changed for the worst in my opinion.

British Invasion

Mtv has let us down plenty of times before, but they have finally made me proud. Why?

Because they have the best talk show known to man in my opinion.....It's On With Alexa Chung...duh

Why is this show so great?

Not to mention that the host....the great Alexa Chung is absoultly fabulous. For one, she makes fashion seem so care free and fun. Also she makes the show so fun with crazy questions and games...

The guest on the show could range from Elmo (no he hasn't been invited yet) to Beyonce. Indie bands to unheard of-but-cool people.

The set is really young and chic and looks like a real N.Y. apartment that only the coolest New York girl would have.

Everything is fun and upbeat and viewers can twitter as the show is going on. Its On With Alexa Chung shows just how great technology really is.

The show doesn't just showcase A-listers which is good because lil people need to be recognized too...

Go get your head out of the sand and watch It's On With Alexa Chung at 12pm Mon-Thu on Mtv....you wont be disappointed

I must say that since the very first Fast and The Furious, my respect for cars really changed. Between me and you, when the first one came out, I wanted to take part in drag racing....but then again everyone who saw it, probably had the urge to take part as well.

I enjoy each of the installments because its not just a guy movie but us girls can really enjoy it. And no not because of all the hotties in those fast cars but just because its fun and exciting.

I don't know which one is my favorite because they are all so good.

My only problem with it is part 2 and 3 which they try to bring back the original characters. I think the characters should have had their own personality not guys trying to be like Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. But the movies were still good and it doesn't have an effect on how good the movies are

For people who don't think there should be a part 5, well too bad because there will be. But seriously, how could they NOT make another installment. I mean Dom was sentenced to jail and Brian had to get him out. You cant possibly expect them to leave us hanging to come to our own conclusions...it wouldn't be right.

Well I can not wait to see the 5th installment. I wonder what they will call it. Really I don't care about the name but I just am so excited.

Cant wait to be surprised for the 5th time! Vrooommm Vrooommm

So if you have been living under a rock, you haven't visited the Sartorialist blog (shame shame)..anyway it a pretty nice blog with tons of fashion pics.

The whole blog is very fresh, fun, and fashion savvy. I wish I could read it 24/7 on the go......

Well now I can because there is officially a book...which i will review once I get my hands on it

The book is obviously called The Sartorialist By Scott Schuman..

I cant wait to read it and see if its better than the one Nylon (my love) put out.

I really like looking at good fashion pictures of everyday people because it is so inspirational and fun.....

I doubt that I will have anything bad to say about it, but we will see

Ahhh....real world, my favorite show, is over, Sniff Sniff

Joey came back and I am so glad because he was my favorite person on the show. He was different and so rel. He said what he felt and had a lot of heart.

The girls on the show, as always, acted stupid and got on my nerves throughout the show. There is too much jealousy and fighting over boys

I know everyone is supposed to leave on a good note but I would have loved to see a fist fight or something.

Joey and Aiiya hooked up!!!!. I never saw that one coming but i mean i guess the bad tension turned into good.....These people need to think before they do.

Aiiya is always crying after the fact...like maybe if you stop drinking then you wouldn't do stupid things...call the waaaaambulance Aiiya.

I'm glad that J realized that she needs real girl friends and I hope she get some good ones

Its sad to say goodbye to the show but cant wait for next season!

Just A Number

"Age is just a number", my favorite saying when I try and talk my mom into letting me date someone older.

Seriously though, depending on your maturity level and where you are at in your life, then the difference in age with your partner really shouldnt matter.

Lets say you are 18 and you meet a great person who is ...maybe 24-28.....

You may rule it out but if you walk into the relationship with understanding and clarity then why not.

Besides, guys mature very slow so you could be on the same maturity level, just a different age.

If you are about to get into a relationship with someone older, i would just suggest that you take your time and see where both of you are. Make sure the person isn't using you to show off to their friends or for sex.

If you talk things out and truly like one another than I don't see why not...Some people have really great relationships with people who might be older.

As long as you are happy then who are we to judge.....

Have fun and if it doesn't work there are other fish in the sea

For those of you who criticise, maybe you should try it first and see what happens

Rebound

OK so I have a friend, who liked this guy for a while,only problem was that he had a girlfriend, so my friend stopped pursuing him. Before he got a girlfriend though, he used to hang with my friend all the time but stopped when he found a girl.

So then he breaks up with his girlfriend and the all of a sudden he is talking to my friend again and wanting to hang...he was treating her like a potential girl friend and everything..

This is REBOUND behavior though.....he needed someone to fill the void I guess...

My stance on this is that you don't need a rebound....you are not going to die without someone...its ok to just be alone sometimes..

Anyway, now he is ignoring my friend so I think he just wanted a rebound and doesn't care...I'll spare him and not call him a jerk..he is a boy....besides she will find someone better..

Its so much better not to care and just move on ladies

usually I go for the Tall, dark and handsome types but Garret Hedlund is really hot....and a very good actor

Also what I like is that he is a versatile actor and seems to really give it all he's got.

To me, he doesn't have an "air" about him that some celebs have which is a good thing.

I enjoyed him in Troy...sadly he died.

And Four Brothers.........sadly he died

Death Sentence...............sadly he died...LOL

But anyway, he seems to be down to earth and well rounded and the celeb world needs more people like that. To me he puts his heart in his work rather than just signing on to a movie for money

If you've never heard of him or seen any of his movies, i suggest you check him out because he is quite talented

Garret is now one of my fav male actors and I cant wait to see some more of his movies!!!!

Is It Fair

I'm sure, you all have heard by now that Chris Brown gets................1 DAY IN JAIL

Yes, your not mistaken, just 1 day.

What kind of message does that send to potential woman beaters or men who might lose their tempers?

Celeb or not, it isn't right. I'm not just talking about Chris Brown, but every celeb that does something wrong and only gets a few days in jail.

No matter who you are, if you do something then you need to be punished. You cant have some people serve time and other people not because of who they are.

All this reminds me of high school when the popular people get away with things and everyone else has to suffer with the consequences.

If we are all equal like everyone says then why cant regular everyday people get out of jail in a day too?

I say either make celebs stay in jail like everyone else OR let everybody get a day sentence and some community service.

But I guess life isn't fair.....

On the plus if you need to commit a crime then, become famous first.

Calling Audrey

If you have never heard of Audrey Hepburn-you get a pass if your young-she is the definition of a chic woman.

She may not have been the ordinary beautiful woman of today but, she carried herself so wonderfully and with so much grace.

Today, I find it so hard to understand why ladies of today act worse than the boys.

I am the kind of girl who follows the rules of classic women. I dress up, no matter where I go, I treat people with respect and I let the man make the first move.

So maybe I'm old fashioned, I'm probably an old person in an 18 year old body.

To me women should follow some of the old fashioned rules when it comes to guys, dating, etiquette, fashion, the way you carry yourself, and daily life.

The clothes were absolutely chic and fabulous and I wish that women and men alike dressed up more. When people dress up, they tend to carry themselves with more poise.

I follow the rules of the great classic women, like Audrey and the women of my favorite movie The Group.

I know its 2009 but seriously, the rules don't have to change when it comes to the way you handle yourself like a lady or a man

A Different Feel

I hope its not just me but when I watch old movies like I Love Lucy, White Heat, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Just one Of the Guys, She's all That, 10 Things I Hate About You, I just feel warm.

Maybe because I'm actually an old person at heart, like everyone says.

Those kinds of movies mainly 80's movies by John Hughes (R.I.P.) just catered to teens. They knew that kids from each generation would always be able to relate to the things that went on. Like trying to get the guy or girl, getting a job, skipping school, getting fired, whatever.

I just feel so good when I see those movies. I could watch Ferris Bueller everyday and not get bored. Movies today just don't have the same warmth as they once did. Maybe because now all the movies are about coked out jaded kids struggling with themselves....I just want some more feel good movies..

I have a strong connection and deep love of all things old. B&W movies, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn,The Doors, 80's Movies.....

Ahhh....those were the days....They don't get any better than that....

How many times do we see these so called BFF's on TV who at the end of the day, just back stab and lie on one another?

Too many.

I know the difference between a convenient friendship and something real. A convenient friendship you ask?

Its when you are "friends" with someone for status or just so you can say you have a friends.

If that sounds like the relationship you have, GET OUT of it and campaign for new friends.

OK so no one wants to go out and make new friends, but nothing worth having is easy.

I know a good friendship because i have good friends from all walks of life.

A good true friend is there to make you laugh and not to judge. I can laugh around my friends as well as cry and not feel distant or embarrassed that my friend will tell the whole world. Me and my friends actually care what each of us thinks and we truly love each other.

We are not friends because we love to drink, or because we have the same hair color or the same shoes.

If that's what a friendship is based on then well....your friendship sucks

Friends need not judge, put bf/gf's first all the time, back stab, or leave you out.

You should be able to feel vulnerable with your friends and just at ease. You'll know when you have found these friends

If you seriously question your friendship with some, take a deep look inside and ask yourself:

1. would we be friends if it wasn't for the alcohol

2. can i trust my friends to not spread my business

3. do my friends make me feel uncomfortable

4. do i hide my deepest feelings from them

5. am i embarrassed around them if i say something crazy

6 am i excluded from activities

7. am i really being myself

if most of your answers are no, then sadly you need some new friends.

Why have bad friends when you can find good ones??

No matter what everyone needs at least one good friend. be yourself and you shall find the ones your destined for.

Music Is Boyfriend

Music gets me through everything. I listen during class, in the car, writing a paper. I don't need a boyfriend, but I need my music.

In the mood for some upbeat fun music? Well listen to The Kooks... Unlike most of the boy bands out now, The Kooks have a sound that just makes you happy and want to dance. The Kooks are from Brighton, England which adds to their charm. Besides their great songs like 'She Moves in Her Own Way', they have quite good fashion sense. Fun fact, The Kooks have been known to beef with the Arctic Monkey

Modest Mouse- I really love their song Dashboard. These guys have been on the scene since 93 and they are really good. Check em out

Frou Frou-'Let Go' (Garden State Soundtrack) Hands down one of the best songs. No explanation needed

Kings Of Leon- Epitome of cool. These guys have a unique sound so if your sick of those whiny voices, KOL is the way to go. Every song is filled with sexy

Vanessa, when do you learn. I'm starting to think this is something that Vanessa is beginning to like. I guess she has nothing better to do then post pictures of herself nude AGAIN. What does Zac think of these??? There is nothing left to the imagination. This girl was made a girl scout. What kind of message does this send. Instead of selling cookies, will they be taught to sell nudes, door to door?.

Yea people make mistakes but posting nudes and such is so not classy. How is that going to look in a few years. My perception of her is just really bad.. She should just ditch her sweet girl act and be a full fledged bad girl. At least then I would respect her a lil more and not be confused about which image she is going for everyday.

So her lawyers want the pictures to be taken down (they will always be floating in cyber space) and they "claim" the pictures where taken when she was underage, as if that makes it any better. How much did she pay her lawyers to say that?

Funny her pictures couldn't have come out at a more opportune time: her movie is coming out. Maybe it will help produce ratings....or not.

OK so unless you've been living under a rock, you have probably heard or seen Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag from one of my favorite shows, The Hills.

So these two are so ridiculous. They love press and will do anything to do get their face in the papers. Whenever they go out they probably call the press and say "hey we are going to be at Area tonight", wherever they go. Spencer wants to be a rapper and Heidi a singer. Gosh, I'm afraid to see their kids. Their baby is going to the Paris Hilton of pre-k.
Anyway, Heidi posed for Playboy (how tasteful), which is cool if you like that sort of thing. So Speidi goes to the premiere of of G.I. Joe in LA and can you guess what they do? They take out Heidi's mag cover and show it at the premiere. I look at them and just laugh because they are so desperate for attention that I can never take them seriously no matter what they do...They always make me laugh.

Atlanta House Wives

So of course, when you deal with rich women, and lots of gossip there is always drama. The second episode of season two, Kim-tervention was equally drama filled.

Number one on a positive note, Sheree is finally a free woman and doing her own thing. Also I'm happy that she and NeNe are bff's again but I don't know if it will last.

These women are in their 30's and 40's and they are acting like 18 year olds. Always sitting around talking about 'who said this and that' 'who did what'. I mean come on. I have nothing against people with money. If you have it, spend it but, seriously, I think some people have so much, that they have nothing better to do, then produce drama.

May I say, that Kim needs a makeover Quick!!. First she dresses like an LA hooker half the time. You don't have to show everything to be sexy. Obviously, no one ever taught her that. Secondly has she never heard of a hair dresser. Her hair looks like a wet mop. Get a better wig, it will make her look younger. So not a Show-Stopper for a good reason.

So I think the meeting with Kim, NeNe, and Sheree was quite funny. It seemed to me that maybe, Sheree had been making things up because she wasn't owning up to anything.

Just kiss and make up. Go on a shopping spree, go to a spa, and Chill Out Please!!!!

A Good Style Book

If you want to improve your look, you don't have to go on What Not To Wear - although it might help to watch it - read Rachel Zoe's book, Style From A to Zoe. It has really good tips that you can incorporate into your daily life. If your on a budget don't worry because she gives you good advice on how you can change your look without breaking the bank.

One of my favorite tips is about accessories and how it can really add to your look. Rachel says you need to have the "wow"factor which will make you glam all the time

I also like how she explains each type of party and how you should dress for it. That helps because sometimes when you're invited out, your not sure what the dress code is. Do you go dressy or casual? Well Rachel tells you what to do

A big tip that i have always followed through my 18 years of life is dressing up for dinner. I would never go out to dinner wearing a t shirt and jeans. If you wear jeans put on some heels and a nice top. Even if I'm going to Fridays or somewhere not as expensive I put on some small heels and a dressy top. Its all about presentation and makes me feel good

So if your ready for a makeover, go to the book store and grab the book. You'll receive some great advice and see a really good selection of pictures. You can bet that you will learn when to take off that extra bracelet and how to look "expensive" even if you wardrobe is from Target (which i love)

My Style Icons

Sometimes I can really be old fashion, down to the music i listen to like Frank Sinatra and old black and white movies, but when it comes to fashion i like the old and the new.

My first fashion icon is Mary Kate Olsen: I know the girl looks a little weird and i don't dress like her, but i like that fact that she can make just about anything work. She takes chances and her whole hippie get up is really flattering on her

Chanel Iman obviously has to look nice, she is a model. She makes everything look flawless so need I say more

Rhianna's style is really all her own. She really is a trendsetter and all of her clothes are really unique, She has this kind edge to her, but still knows how to look classy

Rachel Bilson has a more classy style which I'm sure would flatter most bodies of women. She really knows what looks good for her and is never trashy. She manages to still look young and fresh but still chic

Alexa Chung. Just watch an episode of It's On With Alexa Chung on MTV and you will see what I'm talking about.

Style is what you make it, not just wearing the "It" clothes because you can wear Marc Jacobs from head to toe but not have style. Style is how you wear your clothes and how you carry yourself which is what i learned from the fabulous book Style From A to Zoe by Rachel Zoe (it has great tips)

Sienna Does A-List

I really like Sienna Miller. To me she is know as the queen of indie movies and bold fashion statements. Some people like to say that she has no talent but i think the reason people think that way is because she is always in the tabloids. I without a doubt, think that she does posses a mass of talent and she seems to have a good personality. Don't get me wrong though, I first noticed her because of the tabloids, so I went and saw some of her movies and I really liked it.

You cant believe everything you read I guess. But I am quite happy that she is finally doing a big budget movie that everyone will most likely see(G.I. Joe), although I will miss calling her the queen of indie movies

Guilty Pleasure

NYC Prep has been one of my guilty pleasures since the first episode, but now I'm not sure if i enjoy the way that these "kids" (maybe i should say young adults for the sake of PC). I would think that if i had the money they had i would be much more care free and bubbly but i guess money doesn't make you nice.
So anyway the "Ivy League" episode was really crazy, here's why:
So PC wants to befriend Taylor, which I see nothing wrong with except the fact that he constantly says she's his project. When you really want to befriend someone i didn't know you were supposed to call them projects...I'm starting to think that maybe someone named Camille is a wee bit jealous that PC is taking Taylor under his wing and not her.
I did not like the way that Camille continued to pressure her friend Kelli about college. Just because one person has their whole life mapped out, doesn't mean that someone else cant walk on their own path. YES college is important but it is not for everyone. if you work hard, sometimes you can really be successful without college.
Jessie is a little too worried about PC. I wasn't aware that she gave birth to him.....You have to let people make their own decisions about life (learn that Jessie and Camille)
Taylor's boyfriend is beginning to scare me a little. He comes on a little to strong if you ask me ( i know u didn't but i don't care). Maybe he should watch the movie "Fear" to see how crazy people can get and to prevent himself from getting hospitalized in a padded room...
Cant wait for the season finale sniff sniff
